[draft for Sagar to rewrite]
We began by printing other people’s photographs. Families brought us rolls from their weddings, and we learned what they looked for first: not the couple, but Ammamma in the corner, the uncle who came from far away, the child asleep on the mat.
We still print every wedding we shoot, here, in our own lab. If a print is wrong, we see it before you do.
If you are reading this for your daughter’s wedding, or your own, send us a message. Tell us the muhurtham. We will tell you, honestly, if we are free.
